The rules acted on this portal, should be binding upon any user.  Rules are based on APG's Statute. At the moment, the following rules apply:

 

1.While registration a user shell enter own name, surname and contact data; as necessary, to contact him;

2. If ignoring this requirement, the Administration may at any time terminate the customer's account.

3. Opening non-photography topics, using obscene language, chauvinistic, fascist and other violent calls, pornographic photographs and other analogous expressions for publication are forbidden.

4. After registration the user becomes as a subscriber and is able to use the proper service. 

5. The subscriber assigns status of photographer (amateur, professional) after membership in APG.

6. Member of Professional Photographers Group may at any time place in the gallery, edit and delete 80 photos, each with a maximum of 500 KB - size, color profile -  sRGB,, format – JPG. The sizes of photo are: in width – 800X1000 px, in Height: 500X700 px.

7. Member of Amateur Photographers Group may at any time place in the gallery, edit and delete 50 photos, each with a maximum of 500 KB - size, color profile -  sRGB,, format – JPG. The sizes of photo are: in width – 800X1000 px, in Height: 500X700 px.

8. Be placing own photos on this site the photographer agrees on public display his own photos on this site.

 

General Rules

 

A member of the Association of Photographer (APG) can become: a citizen of Georgia or a foreign country or a person not having citizenship, any legal entity, as well as an organizational structure which is not a legal entity, but shares and agrees the goals and challenges of the Association.

A member of the Association can also be an under-age physical person who is represented by his legal representative in the public relations.

 

Three types of registration are allowed on The APG's portal:

1. Subscriber

2. Amateur Photographers (Member of the Association)

3. Professional Photographer (Member of the Association)

 

 Association Membership and Registration Rules on the Portal

During registration the user fills out a special form of the web-registration, after which the account is activated by administration and the user becomes a subscriber. 

After the accession procedure of membership in APG and annual fee payment the candidate of membership will be moved to the proper photographer group (amateur, professional); hence he becomes a full member of the Association, the Association membership certificate will be issued.

Accordingly the APG Statute, the membership candidate shell fill out the following forms (the Registration Statement and three recommendations - see below) and the electronic version; candidate shall send the scanned signed documents by email: info@photographers.ge or printed version of the completed form present to office of APG (2-nd floor, 6 Block, GTU, 77 Kostava street,  Tbilisi, Georgia, 0175). Benefits 

The subscriber of APG portal uses general electronic Database and a forum on this web-portal.

The subscribers are not able:

-  To create a personal gallery; 

- To use some sectors of the special electronic base, designated for the APG members.

 

APG's member granted a status – Photographer (amateur or professional). He/she:

- Creates a personal photo gallery (amateur – 50 photos, professional – 80 photos), uses a forum;

- Uses the both general and special sectors of the electronic and information base;

- Participates in festivals and exhibition organized by APG;

- To organizing a personal exhibition receives various kinds of practical assistance from APG;

- Has APG's information support during a personal exhibition;

- has the right to participate on the internet video releases under the auspices of the Association;

- To participate in the discussion and round tables organized by the Association;

- Enjoys the benefits in the photo service;

- Enjoys APG's free juridical advice and lawyer service at reasonable prices.

APG recommends members for accreditation in the proper organizations.

 

Association of Photographers of Georgia as a non-commercial legal entity does not accept any order for photo service and does not spread it among its members. One of the main principles to create the APG's web portal is that customer itself chooses a photographer, member of APG, for a particular order and directly linked to him a without any charge for the Association.

 

Membership Fee 

 

Nowadays, by decision of APG's Board  the amount of annual fee determined as follows:

a) Physical person: Professional Photographer (per annum) -  50 GEL;

b) Physical person: Amateur Photographer (per annum) - 25 GEL;

c) Individual entrepreneur (per annum) - 100 GEL;

d) Non-profit legal entity (NGO) - (per annum) - 100 GEL;

e) Legal entity (per annum) - 200 GEL.

 

Payment of membership dues:  

* Payment of fees should be paid per year, by bank transfer

* Members pay a membership fee in advance. 

* Under the circumstances, provided by the APG's Statute, the termination or suspending of APG's membership, paid fee will not be returned.
