January 23, 2016 International Mugham Center in Baku hosted an event of the Union of photographers of Azerbaijan (AFB) - Award Ceremony "Photographer of the Year 2015", supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.
The guests were familiarized with the events organized by AFB in 2015: master classes, competitions, and exhibitions.
On the ceremony Azerbaijani photographers were awarded certificates, diplomas and prizes in the various nominations.
The three representatives of the Association of Photographers of Georgia: Kakha Pkhakadze, Mzia Lekveishvili and Nino Mghebrishvili awarded certificates: they were elected as the honorary members of the Union of Photographers of Azerbaijan. The Georgian delegation also awarded a special prize of appreciation for their support of photography and creative collaboration with UPA.
Deputy Chairman of UPA Rauf Umud has been awarded the national qualification certificate of the Association of Photographers of Georgia "Professional Photographer".
